This plastic retainer clip is an aftermarket equivalent to Hyundai and Kia OE reference 861792V010 (also listed as 86179-2V010). It is used to secure A-pillar trim panels and windshield moulding on selected Hyundai and Kia models.
Commonly replaced by panel shops and smash repairers during windshield replacements or pillar trim refits, where original clips have been broken or lost during removal. The clip features a sealing function as well as a retaining function, helping to keep the moulding correctly seated.
